Just wanted to give a short review of the game -- this feels like a 2011 version paying homage to those fun nintendo games from childhood. The story doesn't even have to make sense, what I like are the set pieces, the graphics/physics/destruction, controls, character/vehicle upgrade system, and the variety/replayability present in such a low priced title. The makers of this game also made Just Cause 2.

Anyhow, really fun and despite all the delays (I had this pre ordered on GMG for months) it's definitely worth a look. I know people were pissed off at the lack of transparency in the way the developer dealt with the release date but honestly, who gives a shit as long as we get a quality release for the PC? Unless you know you're dying and in hospice with the MakeAWish foundation promising you a trip to playing this game on an exact date.... patience is a virtue. Especially when it comes to releases on the PC.

Great game to kick back and play online co-op too.

Played this on the PS3, it's a fun game where you just plough through hordes of enemies using various different vehicles, the on screen coop was very fun as well, probably worth getting for the PC for better graphics and better frame rate, although not as easy to use with mouse/keyboard, the game works really well with dual analogue.

Was planning on picking this up after I the new feel of BF3 and SOTS2 wears off. Could always use a quality arcade style shoot em up.

i preordered it a week ago, going to play it at my friends house this weekend. looks decent and probably will be fun for atleast 2 hours.

Anyone interested in making a run at hardcore difficulty setting co op missions? Really fun game but steam isn't making it easy to connect to people.

If you play mouse/keyboard, turn on tank steering in the options. It will make it play similarly to how the first couple GTA games did. It is a much better control scheme than the default controls.
