Removing water from bay res setup

What is the easiest way to remove all the water from a bay res setup?

I went and opened the plug and threw a piece of hose in there and siphoned it out into a container, but that only took a little out of the bay res and stopped. I think I am going to just try to pull the bay res out and down and just pour the water out, but I thought I would get some suggestions that might make it easier.
 
Well I went at it with my setup and didn't spill a drop while removing the water. what I found worked was to get the water level in the bay res low which it was from the siphoning and then I tilted it sideways and with the topmost tube I took that off and poured the water that would come out into a container.

Then I just tilted the rest of the equipment the right ways until I drained the water from all the components into the container with that one tube opening. Seemed to work great.
