hey guys i have a song from the radio on my mac, is there anyway i can cut out the dj talking and keep the music of the song playing behind him, Cheers
 
Short answer? No, not completely, and not even acceptably partially, unless it's a very rare case in which there are very little or no crossing frequencies.

If you can arrange to host the file somewhere, I can take a listen later in the day and let you know if it's feasible.
