Is there something to take off super glue drops on panel windows? Something that won't damage the plexi/lexan, or nearby paint.

that's going to be very tough, since anything that can remove it is going to be solvent based and probably mar the plexi and paint.

You could try fingernail polish remover.

But try it on a spare piece of plexi first if you can, and then use a q-tip or something to apply it.

nail polish remover will happily eat through plexi . . . best bet is to sand it down with very fine wet + dry sandpaper and then polish out the scratches with metal polish.

Go to a hobby store, pick up some "CA glue debonder". That will remove the superglue, but it'll leave the window frosted at best- melted through at worst.

bah, it's not much and it's not my computer. i'll just leave it. thanx though

If there is enough room to grab hold of it, you might try warming it up with a blow dryer. That won't get it hot enough to melt and you might be able to pull it off when it's warm.

Uhhh...super glue remover???:rolleyes::rolleyes: They DO make them you know...for the tards that glue their fingers together

What about freezing it??? Freezing the Arctic Silver adhesive stuff seems to work on that...maybe it'll work on super glue...AS adhesive prolly beats the strength of super glue:eek::eek:

if it's lexan, do NOT use nail polish remover/acetone... If it's plexi, you actually should be fine using nail polish remover. I've never had acrylic (plexi) melt by acetone. I'd use goo gone or another oily based product, it shouldn't do anythign to your plastic...
