Is it possible to completely remove the bezel on an LCD monitor? If so, is there anything behind it? Has anyone done it?

I've taken out a LCD from the plastic housing, but even then, there's still a metal frame around the LCD. I think if one was to remove this metal framing... some crazy liquid would ensue :D

Are you talking about doing seamless linking of displays?

Very few displays will let you do that, and most of the time the only ones that are able to be seamless are custom made that way in the first place. If you even think about doing it, then make sure to obtain internal drawings of your monitor so that you can know whether or not it is physically possible. I would also make sure that you are completely confident in your drilling and machining ability since you still need to cover it after linking the displays.

I assume that is the reason behind removing the bezel...

Yep, that's what I was thinking, but if it takes a certain degree of skill and knowledge, well, I won't be risking it anytime soon. ;)

Thanks guy.
