Removing DC from AD, ASAP, SVP BTW?? YMMV??

:D ok enough with the acronymns...

how can I remove a DC from active directory?? I suppose I shoulda did it while it was running, but now it's not and all tore apart, but in my AD it still shows that it's there and I can't seem to delete it... any ideas??

Hehe did you just delete the Domain Controller Icon in AD and not run DCPROMO?

You'll be ok by following the MS article, it's just that running DCPROMO is a cake walk. I was actually worried the 1st time used it to remove a DC from our domain. It was TOO simple . Well at least we know you'll do it next time after having to go the long route ;)
