I'm thinking about getting a new monitor, and removing the AG coating.

How much risk is involved? That is, how likely am I to destroy or damage the monitor?

unless you have a cheap-o monitor that you can stand to lose, I wouldn't do it. So for buying a new monitor to do it on, why not just get a glossy monitor?

I saw that he does this earlier, but his fee (not including shipping) is 50% of that monitor's cost :eek:. (Asus 24" Lightboost)

I'd consider it on an expensive screen, but it's wasteful on a cheap one.
