Removing case stickers

Alcohol based solvent typically works. Make sure the proof is in the upper 90% range so it will evaporate quickly.

Sounds like he is redoing them or selling the computer. I may have the same issue myself here since I am building a new machine and don't know what to do with the old one.
It's not a bad machine, just not upgradeable.

You could use Goo Gone or other. Trouble is it may leave a residue.

Try this (it really works.): Get very close and breath warm/moist air on the sticker and slowly begin peeling. Breath more ( on the underside). If you go slowly, that will take care of business.
 
Forgot to say hair dryer as well. Works like a heat gun and will loosen the "sticky" side.

You will need to use something like Goo Gone or Alcohol to remove the residue though depending on the stickers (some will not leave residue, some will).

ah well, you got some real good advice, I thought I'd throw in an odd ball.
 
Alcohol works great to remove the residue but if you still want to re-apply them try a hair dryer and use an Exacto Knife
to gently peel up a corner and slowly work your way to the center. I just did this myself since my case is getting painted
and wanted to re-use most of the stickers. The worst ones are usually the Microsoft Windows badges
(they allmost allways leave residue plus they get creases that make them un-reusable). The ultimate worst by far are
the Windows COA labels which are a pain to remove, When I worked at HP/ Compaq we had to use
a heat gun set at 350-400 degrees and allot of patience to get them to budge! :eek:

Ok, here's my steps for removing the stickers off a case

1. Get Voodka
2. Get PC
3. Look at PC and sticker
4. Put some Voodka in a Glass
5. Take a swig of Voodka to make sure it's still good
6. Screw removing the stickers, it's Voodka time!
7. Wake up from passing out due to too much Voodka
8. Try to remember how you ended up in your Neighbors House
9. Explain to cops as you are being taken away that it was PC Stickers Fault for this mess you are in now
