I plan on reseating my processor over the weekend to install the thermal sensor to my fan controller, and im wondering when i take off my heatsink what should i use to clean up the as so i can reapply, ive heard rubbing alcohol, and ive seen a.s. remover? http://www.svc.com/acclean-60ml.html

All you really need is a lint free cloth, such as those cloths that come with glasses. Wipe it off good and your ready for a new coat. But if your really particular about it you could use mineral spirits or alcohol, there are other but I can't think of them. But cleaners tend to leave a residue, your better off just wiping it off.

I just use 91% high purity alcohol from Sav-on (highest they have =( ) it was only 98 cents or something.. :p
