I was screwing around trying to learn all the little features in the current vSphere environment, and I think I dun gone 'n broke something. My cluster has a "configuration issue" that I just can't get rid of:

VSAN datastore <vsanDatastore> in cluster <cluster> in datacenter <datacenter> does not have capacity.

If I go to Manage > Settings > Virtual SAN > General, I can see that Virtual SAN is turned off. There are no disk groups. It is not licensed. As far as I can tell, it's just plain not enabled. So why am I getting this error, and how can I make it stop?
 
You turned it on at one point :p

See if the datastore is even listed still in the datastore listings. IIRC, this is fixed in GA (we're still in beta) but the alarm likes to stick around at the moment >_<
 
It's not in the datastore listing. (At least, I think that's what it's called - Home > Storage on web client) All that's in there is my NFS mount.

Is there an advanced setting I could add to turn off the warning, similar to how you can do it with the whole "less than 2 datastores detected" heartbeat warning thing?
 
That's a bug in the beta code. You have to destroy and rebuild the cluster to get rid of it. Annoying.
 
Lol..you have to admit the scale is quite impressive.
