Remove some file types from Photoshop Save As

Is there any way to remove some of the file types from the Photoshop Save As dropdown box?

I will probably never save a file into Dicom, PCX, PICT, Pixar, SCT, Targa etc... and I'd like to remove those choices from the menu if possible.

You could try searching for *.8bi and remove (maybe just rename to be safe) the formats you don't want.

Should get rid of a few at least.

Search for them where? In the Registry?

Sorry, search in '%HomeDrive%\Program Files\' (or wherever you've installed Photoshop).

Thanks! That helped a lot. I can now see the remaining file formats in the dropdown box without scrolling.

I'd still like to get rid of PICT, Scitex CT and Large Document Format... but this is better than nothing.
