Hey guys I have a question for those of you who have built an entire case from scratch. I have all the basics in my head for what I want so my main question is this how hard is it to build a removable mobo tray and drive cage. I have been thinking about how to create my own drive bays I think I have a good working system but how hard are the cages to make and get right so the drives line up well.

The main problem is that I have an unusual layout for mine that you would not normally see in a case so it would be hard to mod the mobo tray like that. Honestly I would prefer to build one myself anyways I was just wondering what you all think is the most convenient way of removing them. I honestly have a better idea to try rather than a removable mobo tray as well but i am worried that if i put the work into it and it does not turn out right its going to suck.

I will run it by you guys. I want to have one entire side of the case be a swinging door. The main problem is that when it is closed I want it to line up flush and lock so that there is no way that you would even notice it. I should actually make some plans tonight and put up my full design. The biggest problem I keep having is how I want it to swing back as I want it to open far enough that you can see inside but then all the cabled will get tangled unless I route them back to where I plan on putting the hinges and have them extra long. For a while I actually concidered mounting everything to the swing out panel but I would need some heavy duty walls and hinges to support that.
