Remote Desktop to WHS from home.

i would like to connect to my WHS on a off site location from home. whats are the steps needed to accomplish this?

RDP (MS Terminal Services) are not secure. You could just open up the right ports on the firewalls at each site to make this work...but you really don't want to.

Best approach would be to set up VPN access from your home,

As long as you have secure passwords, RDP will be fine for home usage. Forwarding ports and RDP for a large business/corporation, yeah you'd have to consider security then, but not for Joe Blow remoting into home.
