Remote Desktop, dual Monitors and nvidia

Hi guys,

I am running two monitors (Acer24" and my old dell 20") and would love to have my remote desktop sessions open in full screen on the Dell monitor. I am currently using them in a "dualview" setup on my 7900gt.

I have tried both setting the application preferences for RDP and this to set my Dell as the monitor for the RDP window, however, neither of them want to work.

Has anyone gotten this to work? How so?
 
  1. Start a windowed (non-fullscreen) remote desktop session
  2. Drag the windowed session to the monitor you want
  3. Close the remote desktop session
  4. Set the properties for the connection to "full screen". It must be "full screen", not the actual resolution of your monitor (1280x1024, etc).
  5. Start a remote desktop connection; it'll be full screen on the target monitor
from the second link works, however, I saved the connection at 1600x1200, which is the secondary display resolution and i do have to manually drag it across and maximize it on the dell display :/
