Remote Desktop disconnecting after some time

Hi all! I’ve been having a strange issue with Remote desktop. It connects fine at first but after a while the session just disconnects by itself. My internet seems okay, so I’m not sure if it’s a Windows setting or something else.
Has anyone had this happen and found what was causing it?

This is often caused by session timeout settings or the remote PC going to sleep. I’d check the Remote Desktop timeout settings first, since idle or disconnected sessions can sometimes be set to close automatically. Disabling those often solves it.
It’s also worth checking the power settings on the remote PC, especially sleep mode or network power saving.
And have a look here too https://www.remoteaccesspcdesktop.com/configure-remote-desktop-session-time-limit/ it mentions a few other things that can cause it.
