remote CCTV connection issue

HI,
I use the following program http://www.remocam.net/ to connect to my security cameras
in europe. I downloaed the program and run it on my PC. I have windows XP pro.It used to run fine but now I am afraid some setings in services.msc had been changed and I cannot connect anymore thru the web or my PC. My family in europe have no problem in connecting.
Can someone please tell me what it is I have to do? I ping and it fails any echo or response. But I tried on three different PCs and still the same results! Thankyou
