How should i go about remote administering my computers from school, i was going to setup a tightvnc server on each one, have each one with it's own port, forward those ports on my ipcop and it should work right?

I was wondering how much bandwidth is needed for VNC to be usable, my cable connection at home only has 70Kbs upload, is that enough or would it be a slideshow.

what are my other options?

Use one to get on the inside. Once there, you can vnc over to the others.

You should be fine with 70k.... unless one of your boxen decides up upload :p

You run VNC Server as a service on all your boxen on the inside, with a certain password.
Configure the one VNC Server you want to connect to, on the inside with a fixed ip addy and with a StrOngPassword! .
Go to your router and allow port 5900 from the WAN to port 5900 into the LAN, to the fixed IP addy you assigned with a strong password because it will be listening to the WAN for incoming requests.
You sign in to that VNC Server using the strong password.
Once inside your network, you simply VNC to each of the other computers on your LAN that has VNC Server installed.
Configure your VNC Servers to disable all the GUI effects and background images to save on bandwidth.
