OK, so I use SPDIF out on my onboard audio (Realtek), and I'd like to use the keyboard to adjust the volume. Reason for this is to hook my PC to my reciever of course...I coudl use discrete audio, but I have electrical noise issues with analog output, so I prefer to stay digital.
This is fine and dandy except master volume does nothing anymore...master mute does, but master volume just doesn't do anything.
I'd like to remap it to use the wave volume slider if I can...is there any registry tweak or other simple hack i can do to pull this off?
If not, is there a low system overhead utility I can use to do this?
Thanks.
