Any recommendations on a reliable USB flash drive to be used for a Nas4Free server?
OS will be installed on the USB drive so I want something very reliable.

I would get a Kingston DataTraveller HyperX. They're not cheap, but they're fast and a few models have quality encryption if you require it.

You don't really need anything fancy. That said, I splurged a little and got a Kingston Data Traveler Elite 16GB USB3 (even though I'm using it with USB 2.0 since I can't boot up over USB 3.0 on my mobo due to lack of USB 2.0 ports). 16GB is intentionally more GB than necessary and should ensure massive overprovisioning and no worries about wear and tear. I also got it for slightly better than average random 4K read/write speeds which helps slightly with boot-up time.

Anything by Sandisk or Lexar ought to be fine as well.

My first choice these days is Corsair Flash Voyager USB3 sticks... they're fast and pretty damned tough.

Second would be a cheap Kingston DataTraveler... but really anything should be good for your purposes.

I would say anything besides Corsair Flash Voyager USB3's, I have had 3 of them die including 2 from an RMA.

looks like my old OCZ Rally2 Turbo 4GB drive has SLC so I may use that
