• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

Releasing plastic cable clamps

Trick that I use:

Bust out a couple pairs of needle-nosed pliers, grab the fat end at either side of the grippy portion, and use a clockwise or anti-clockwise twisting motion to slide the grippy teeth apart (e.g. both wrists go clockwise or both wrists go anti-clockwise). That help?

*edit* That allen key idea doesn't sound bad either

Another way, if you are using a taller type barb, is to just slip them apart. I.e. move the outside up, and try to push the inside down if possible. They come off pretty easily for me this way.
