Ok here my problem.
I have a computer conected to a home network. I will call this computer computer 4
The other computers on my network I will call computers 1 to 3
They are all plugged into the same switch and everything works fine.
Computer 4 has dual LAN controllers
i have another computer computer 5 (not connected to the network) that also has a ethernet port.
I am wondering:
1. Can I connect computer 5 directly to computer 4 (crosover cable?) ?
2. Can Computer 4 see both computer 5 files as well as the other network
3. Can computers 1-3 see computer 5 files
4. If the network is on the internet can computer 5 use the internet as well.
My prefable case would be that computer4 can see both networks, computers 1-3 cant see computer 5 and computer 5 can use the internet.
Is this all possible???
Thanks
