After getting shit from MixManSC, I'm going to rejoin the [H]orde after a 5+ year break. Right off the bat I'll be using my main desktop, media center and server. I've got my old desktop which I plan on using for a Linux workstation and will fold as well.

Any recommendations you guys can make for someone coming back after a long hiatus? I looked on the folding page and saw that my name has been used to fold for other teams. Is there not a way to control stuff like that?
 
Awesome to see you come back so let me be the first to welcome you with open arms :)

First of all, look at the [H]♥orde guides and see if you can install the latest clients, especially the GPU clients if you have a compatible video card to fold. As for the stats, there is not much you can do beside making sure you fold for team 33 ;)

Welcome back. GPU will have you flying. Not sure of your previous stats but my guess would be if you have been out of it for 5 years you would probably be able to replace any existing stats in short order. Maybe you could come up with a fresh name for your new folding commitment.

Well - if the rig is in your sig I don't think the GPU client will run on the 7900gs card so it looks like the SMP client will be your best bet to me. As far as whats the best way to set things up - I'll let the experts around here chime in. Welcome back - and I'll be shooting you a PM monday morning. ;)

but the 8600 in my media center should work fine :)
