I am doing a reinstall of windows XP media center 2005. Problem is I have a windows XP Pro disk. I try to reenter the key and it tells me it is invalid. I assume because it is a media center key and Pro software. Is there any work around or can I download XP media center and enter my key? Do I need to find an XP media center disc?

Yeah, you need to find that XP MCE disc.

There is no work around for this, as the key will not validate with the improper "edition".
