Nevermind - The "startup repair" option worked.
My friend was using his computer (with Vista) and it crashed on him. Upon rebooting, the "no operating systems found" thing comes up. I'm assuming this means the MBR is peaced because all the data is still on his hard drive (i checked using a linux livecd). His computer came with a "windows anytime upgrade" cd from dell. Can I repair the MBR with this disc (or an XP pro install disc?)
