Going to reinstall Skyrim and try Dawnguard out. Also, I'm looking to stretch the legs out on my new 7970. Can anyone point me to a list of mods to really make the game a different experience? I beat the game before any major mods came out and have not played it since.

Thanks. I guess I was looking for a more distilled version with a group of regularly updated mods that complement each other and play nicely together.

Post what type of mods you are looking for otherwise there are too many to suggest.

The best of the best? Mods that don't really change core gameplay dramatically, but add to it. Massive visual improvements or additions. Must have mods, really.

It is too hard to know what a must-have mod is when everyone's opinion differs. For me, must-haves are a few interface mods and lots of visual mods. Everything else I add/remove depending on my character and mood.

But I think my list does a good job of doing what you are asking. There is also Nexus' Top Files section and STEP offers a good guide for the visual department. Otherwise you'll have to find someone who shares your exact wants and copy their mod list.

Thanks. That's precisely the sort of thing I was looking for to get me started.

I feel like Morrowloot is really cool. Changes leveled lists and handplaces all of the really good stuff throughout the dungeons of the world, makes it so you can only craft up to like, steel and other "common" stuff with blacksmithing (but can still temper/improve the exotic stuff if you have it).

Makes finding some ebony or whatever for yourself a real experience.

Is there a mod which just buffs all the lame-ass uniques and then adds legendary loot for endgame?

:)

There are a few loot mods, I think I found mine with the filter set for weapons. It added it's own uniques.

At work so no linkies :(
