So let me preface with the fact I switch phones very often and love having the latest and greatest, that's why I purchased my Galaxy S6 Edge unsubsidized.
I'm coming from an iPhone 6+ but love Android as well. When leaving the store I was enthusiastic about the Galaxy S6 Edge but after 3 days of usage I'm not so certain.
Once I disabled all the bloatware (Samsung and ATT) I found the animations to be jittery so I enabled developer mode and removed any animation delays.
Still was not happy so I installed Nova Launcher Prime and that seemed to run fine but there is still noticeable lag at the lock screen and the notification drawer (multitasking menu as well).
My last complain would be the battery life. I work from home and while there's 2 bars of cellular I'm always on WiFi. Right now I'm at 20% with 8h on battery but only 1h50m of SOT. Noticeable memory usage (only 300mb left of 3GB!) I do not feel as though I'm a power user and certainly after a few days, reduced my usage of the phone yet still find issues with the battery.
So I suppose I'm asking if others have experienced this and how are you dealing with it? I'm still within the 30 day return period but the LG G4 has no firm release date for AT&T and it is seemingly the only new flagship handset recently released that would warrant moving from my iPhone 6+.
