registration question

Hey I just went to the folding website and am interested in folding

But what do these fields mean?

F@H (ghz) : UD (ghz): Total HDD (gb):*

What should I put in the F@H and UD fields, and for Total HDD should I put the total amount of space I have on my comp? or do I have to put how much space I want set aside for folding (does folding even take up much space?)

edit: oh and I have an XP 2800+ processor, so would I just put down 2.2 ghz?

Many of us have several PC's DCing.
The two major projects [H] DC supports are f@h and UD.

So I might have:
25GHz f@h
35GHz UD
1,200GB HDD space.

Make sense?

For one PC it might be:

2.4GHz f@h
0GHz UD
40GB HDD space

Ok. I have a 56gb drive and a 233gb drive in my comp. Do I just put down the total (289gb)?

Just add up what you have, it’s mostly for survey purposes, you input and scores are not part of anything you put there.

Besides, once you get “hooked” those numbers will change fast

Is it supposed to take awhile to get registered? I'm not shown under the members on hardfolding, and my personal stats page never loads. Or do I have to complete every frame first? right now I'm at frame 179/400

No stats until the first WU (work unit) completes. (in your case your first WU is 400 frames)
After it's completed it could take a few hours to show up at Stanford. But you'll have already downloaded and started your second WU by then.

WU vary in size and difficulty. Points vary accordingly.
It's addicting to watch the climb.
