I am trying to register on the hardfolding site, but there is a field called Stats ID. What is this? Where can I find it? Sorry I have searched this forum and google and can not find what I need to answer this.

this happened to me when i FIRST started folding, how long have you been folding? if you don't have anything uploaded to stanford yet, you'll have to wait til that happens.
 
I just started yesterday. After the first upload where will this id be then?

i would like to tell you, but i can't get to my stats page on hardfolding to look at it and i honestly don't remember where it was when i signed up... i think there's a list of new usernames reporting a work unit and it will show your ID there.

that gives you a ton of numbers for yourself, and if you click on your username, it will show you what your rank is. looks like you have 2 work units already, awesome!

hardfolding.com might take a little while to update and show your stats, i just waited overnight to get my hardfolding.com account setup.

you're set then, check the hardfolding.com page tomorrow and you should see your name, then you can click it, get the number and make an account, get your badge, bob's your uncle
 
I checked the hardfolding.com page and my name is no where there. I followed the instructions and put in team 33 .

badge probably,

my stats haven't udpated for like 2-3 days on my badge and whenever i try to click my badge i get "Stats Processing". i think hardfolding.com is borked.

What purposes is the eoc good for? I know there is a place you post on here with your badge to win prizes, is that it?

Yes, but once you register on hardfolding.com, how do you want to use it?

Do you only want your hardfolding badge or perhaps something beyond that?
 
I was wanting my hardfolding badge. I guess it would be nice to put my name in the drawings also.
 
IIRC you can get the badge w/o registering as long as hardfolding stats are up (and right now, they aren't...).

You'll be able to get hardfolding badge URL as soon as stats are up. Until then... use EOC badge...

Who's supporting hardfolding.com and how can he be reached? How can issues be reported?

I don't mind using something that works. If it doesn't, I don't care if it has [H] branding or not, I move along to something that works.

If contest requires [H] badge and [H] badge can't be retrieved, what does it tell you about the team?

Face it, maintainer is virtually absent. There's no active development; symptoms are treated as they arise.

To me, hardfolding.com is simply unreliable/defunct.

I always seeing it being pushed on hardocp.com front page. So I figured I would try it and thats one reason I want the hard badge. I visit hardocp every day multiple times I really like it so I try to click on links and things to help the site.

Would be nice if what they are asking people to help with be up. Not trying to be mean here. thanks
