Hello!

I'm hosting a small site with Amazon AWS and I wanted to register a domain name. Since it doesn't seem I can do so through Amazon (Although they do have their own registrar.) I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions for where I should do so? I would like a service that offers WhoIS privacy and where I don't have to worry about them trying to take the name.

Thanks!

almost all registrars offer whois privacy these days. I use namecheap myself and have never had a problem and they do hide my whois details. and they are cheap

I use Namecheap. I moved from GoDaddy because at the time their control panel was a convoluted cluster**** designed by someone drawing the layout with a crayon between their toes.

Thanks for the suggestions, went with namecheap and everything is progressing well.
