i saw another persons computer, who had this guy from a company redo (format ect) and i noticed that on the system properties / general tab (where it says system:registered to: cpu speed and ram) / at the bottom left corner under the xp logo he had his companys logo and his name :
ex: Maintained and Serviced by:
(then pic of company)

does anyone know how this is done, i was thinking of putting my own pic. like you sometimes see "dell" logo or whatever brand pc you bought (unless built yourself)
:confused:

kinda, but i'm not getting it to work for me like what i saw. i can't get the pic to show period and the manufacter shows on the right side, the pc i saw it was on the left unless it was part of the pic

The manufacturer's info can be added during an OPK install and nLite does it as well.

There is a way to add your own custom logo/info to the system properties page...I'll have to ask our builder how to do it.

In the System32 folder, you will need to place two files. A text file with the filename oeminfo.ini and a bitmap with the title oemlogo.bmp.

oeminfo.ini should be formatted like this:
[General]
Manufacturer=Myself
Model=This one

[Support Information]
Line1=Call me at 555-5555
Line2=I want this line too
Line3=bla bla bla
Line4=more stuff
Line5=you get the idea
Line6=
Line7=
Line8=
Line9=
