Refurbished Corsair?

Maybe shell half price, if I had the ability to rebuild the psu if it failed on me after 1 year of use.

I have purchased many refurbished parts, so I'm definitely not against them. However, I wouldnt be comfortable with a refurbished power supply. Its the main component in your pc and can fry other equipment when it goes out more often than not. Not only that but its often designed to last upwards of 10 years and can be easily transferred to any new build.

I would go for new with a much longer warranty. Worth the extra.

I am not against getting a refurbished PSU, but the fact that is only has a 1 year warranty makes it a rip off, I mean Corsair fixes it and only thinks its worth 1 year ? no thanks what does that say about their repair jobs.

New might be double the price, but it also gets you 10 years of warranty.

You just missed a sale for the referb 1200i at $130. I got one at that price, wouldn't at $180.
