Anyone know of a program to specifically change the refresh rate of a monitor?

Like odd rates *between* 60, 70, 75, 85 etc.

You mean like, 62Hz, or 77Hz or something like that? I don't know of any video cards that can do that, I imagine it'd be video-card specific, but I don't think any can go that precise. Why would you want to?

Yea i dont think you can use odd refresh rates like 63Hz and 74Hz. I dont know why you would want to try to ither cause a few Hz wont make much of a difference.

You know they wont or your guessing?

I need to adjust it to a more specific refresh rate because I have a retarded monitor that is incredibly sensitive.

If I cant find someting to adjust the refresh rate then I think I am gonna have to chuck this peice of shit studio display CRT..

Ugh probibly gonna have to spend more money.

But I would think you can adjust it more specific, dont they just set the values to 60, 65 etc because its a bit more general of a setting?

The problem is that the imagine is now slowly wobbling @ 1280x1024, I have recently changed the position of the monitor in the room so that could be causing it mabey, but it doesnt seem to be going away. Also this retarded monitor wont do any other resolution without the image wobbling even more. when I change the refresh rate from 60 to any higher, the image starts shaking bad.

Funny thing is when I had the monitor ont he other side of the room, it was perfect at 1280x1024 @60hz and I didnt get eye strain for some reason. Now it slooooowly wobbles at these settings.

Thanks I will give it a shot.

Edit tried it out..

I gotta get a new monitor some time. It worked, But I couldnt adjust the refresh rate fine enough to work at 1280x1024 or 1024x768... So I had to crank it up to 1600x1200, I am on a 17" monitor here. Its not too bad I guess but even now adjusted best as I can get it, the edges STILL wobble a very tiny bit, if I could adjust it from 60.000hz to 59.999hz, that would probibly do the trick.

Ohh well:(
