My Monitor osd says the refresh rate is 59htz but I have it set in win 2000 for 85 and ditto the same in the Catalyst contol centre. All the correct drivers are installed I think. Put on the latest Saphire ones last week. Uninstalled the old first. Do I belive windows/ATI or the Monitor OSD. Monitor does seem a bit flicky to my eye but that could be too much Farcry assualts in the wee hours !

Any help apriciated

You are having the same problem i was.

Go into display properties / settings / advanced / displays/ monitor and see if it says DDC not supported. If it's not, then set your maximum resolution and max refresh and refresh rate override to same as desktop. Then see if you can change your refresh.

EDIT: didn't see you had the ccc, but you should be able to find it.

Cant find anything about dcc in any menu, Set to 85 in win and CCC , what is dcc anyway ?

Thanks

greg
