refresh rate stuck at 60hz

My refresh rate for my monitor doesn't change. I can change it in display properties to 60, 72,75,85 etc.. but my monitor stays at 60hz.

EV700 (17"CRT)
Radeon 9600 Pro
Windows XP SP2
Catalyst 4.9s

Any fix for this?


Could have been after installing SP2, but im not sure if it was doing it before or not..

monitor drivers don't make a difference, and I installed the omega drivers and no difference. Also, if I change the resolution, the refresh is still locked.


EDIT: Wewt, fixed it. Went into Displays tab for advanced settings and it said DCC not supported for my monitor so I just set my wn max refresh/max resolution and it fixed it.
