Reformat, 4.9 or what?

When I reformat should I install the whole 48 mb 4.9 pack or what?

PPL say the new CP is crap.
 
you can get the new 4.9's without the new CP.

i haven't reformatted with my driver update. i even went beta 4.9-->4.8-->4.9 without a hitch.
 
It's a matter of personal preference, you should try out the CCC before you decide to use it or not after the format.
 
I was thinking of install it rite now, checking it out, then gonna do it. I am gonna reformat in a week or so.

I'm still sticking with the CCC, playing around with it and such. I find that the extra memory it takes does not affect performance greatly since it releases it as needed. I am concerned that it seems to take CPU time, which is an annoyance, but disabling the tray icon seems to help somewhat. I'm not completely keen on it but I'm giving it a chance and will see how it works.
