Reflow now not charging

Well I finally stripped down my hp hdx18 1180ca, and did a heat gun reflow on the nvidia gpu. It has been down for a few months. Now it says 0% battery and charging. I don't think the battery is bad as it was working great a few months ago. Is there anything to look for as maybe the reflow melted something near by?
 
Reflowing a board is such a crap shoot, as a last ditch effort to save a non warrantied part I guess it's worth a shot.

However my opinion aside I would guess that your laptop is done.
 
Yeah I just have stuff to get off it. I'll keep using it like a desktop till I get office back together. I got the video working which was good but then charge quit. What a great 2k investment lol. Think I got 2 years out of it lol
 
I've seen laptop batteries that do just suddenly go.

You could try buying a new one off ebay.
