Redhat 9 box wanting to run fluxbox on it questions

I have a redhat 9 box at school right now that me and my cisco teacher have been working on getting up and running for the past 6 weeks. We've finally got it up but we want to run fluxbox to speed things up since i have limited ram on the board. Edo ram. We'll be got fluxbox on a cd the source so we unpack the tarball and then create the fluxbox directory then we go to ./configure and it saise we are missing x window libraries and something else anyone else haveing this problem??? or have a step by step on how to install fluxbox.??

You're probably missing the developer libs and includes. Look for a package called something like 'xlibs-dev', or find a binary RPM (how hard could that be?)

can't find a download for the package xlibs-dev can someone link me? if they can find it.
