i just noticed a have a redish pixel in my lcd ..i'm sure it is new ....... how can i get rid of it ?

is this stuck or dead?

thanks,

Open up the video in QuickTime. Select the loop option. Press play. Also turn off your screen saver and disable the monitor power management.

This program did not work for me. I ran it over night.

Yes, I've also heard that by massaging the pixel it will actually come back to life. It will not hurt the monitor at all if you try.

Just apply firm, but not so hard your monitor is going to just fall over, haha. I've never tried this, but I've always heard to give it a try.

Heh, my bad, when you said it was worth a try I thought maybe you were going to do it as well.

Holy cattle... I will have to try this.. I have two "red" (stuck) pixels on my 23". I hope it works. Thanks for the tip. :)
