Im trying to complete one of my challenges and I can not seem to frigging figure out where the he'll to find beavers at so I can get there pelts. I read that they are usually found up north along the river near" Thieves Landing", but I've been going up and down that friggin river and I can seem to friggin find any. Am I looking in the wrong place or what?
 
I usually find them in the southern part of Tall Trees. You need to unlock the third area of the game that includes Blackwater before you can access it though.
 
North of Blackwater, go straight north along the coast line. As it begins to hook west towards the Plains, near that embankment you will find a plethra of beavers.
 
I found them all to the west of Tall Trees, around the lake. There are also a lot of Grizzly around there, so watch out.
