i only play skirmish games offline because i suck at this game, but im not even good enough to play the skirmishes with 40k to start. is there a way i can edit the game or cheat code that allows unlimited money? i budget my finances enough in my life i dont like doing it in a game.

Does that not negate part of the strategy of a strategy game? Anywho, I don't know if there are any cheats out for this game yet.

:) i just beat a skirmish on easy! its that one map where you can let the enemy reside on a little island on the bottom left, and you get the rest of the map. its like 10 ore facilities to 4... i barely did it. it still kept saying "insufficient funds" yea yea i get it dont blame me for trying to build aircraft carriers in this economy

which reminds me, is this a bug?- i got max clearance so i could build aircraft carriers, i built one, then collapsed my main base and move it to another spot. once i reopened it, it still said i had max clearance already bought but it still asked me for max clearance to built an aircraft carrier... among other things. once i zipped up my base and re-deployed it a bunch of options went grey and didnt come back... even after making another mcu and giving that max clearance too!

whats a trainer:confused:

think of it like hot keys for your cheats :)

haha i dont remember the whole technical in depth "what's a trainer" but basically, you run it with the game, and use the specified keys to activate a specified function from the trainer, which then modifies some code, and enables it. You can then just as easily disable by re hitting the keys. Also, nothing permanent is done to your code so no worries.

Hope that helps :)

Heh, that's exactly the way I feel as well. I had that with almost all strategy games I played in the past, beginning with Starcraft. I just don't like playing with limited resources. I often just edited the maps or used trainers. In return I chose hard or brutal AI to compensate.

I like building large and very well defended bases, were hordes of high-level enemy units would try to breaching them. I just can't like the idea of building multiple weak defended bases everywhere on the map just to keep a steady flow of income.

That's probably also the reason why I never had much success in strategy games online. :p

Regarding your problem with "heightened clearance", I haven't encountered that problem yet but I'll try to replicate it in a later game.

Thanks! I try it out later. :)
