recovering my compact flash card

yeah.. so like a dumbass i formatted my CF card in my canon a60. i am thinking there is a way to recover info.. like rebuilding fat tables or somethign? cause i just formatted over a week of vacation pics and am not happy.

has anyone tried anything like this? i do not have a card reader, just my a60, a broken nikon 2100, and my mom's vivitar which all read the cf cards...

Edit: :-/ It would help to have a CF reader. But try connecting via USB port with your canon to your PC.

Edit 2: May I recommend a very good cheap CF reader -- Uno! Micro Drive for CF's. Cheap and worth it. Never failed on me.

sweet... that recovered almost all of my pictures... i had to use the broken nikon, and it wrote a folder to the disk which may have been responisbile for the scrambling and dissappearance of a few pictures, but overall it worked.
