Am trying to record music with Magix Music Studio 2005. I am using the audio studio. I have a Sound blaster Audigy 2 platinum pro sound card.

Every time I try to record a second try it record the first track on the second track plus what I am recording. The third track will have all three recorded on it. I have playback while recording turned on because I have to be able to hear the other track to record.

I have my guitar plugged into the line in. It records fine but it also records the first track with my guitar track.

Do I have something hooked up wrong is there a way to record only my guitar and still hear track one which is a drum track.
