It is possible to record multiple (2-3) DV sources at the same time into a PC? I am running 2 Canon HDV cameras at the moment with the possibility of running a third and looking for software that can record up to 3 inputs simultaneously. I am looking to build a pc that can do this, as well as edit/mix the recorded video and then author/burn dvds.

Most solutions to record from multiple sources arent cheap. The ones I have seen come with their own hardware or need specific hardware
You might get away with using multiple different apps or an app that allows more than one instance to run.

Alternatively if you have certain Hauppage capture cards (or compatible tuners), their Beyond TV software can use multiple capture cards.

It should be able to record from multiple sources at the same time.
Download the demo to see.
