recorded mp3 with equalizer already in?

having listened to winamp equalizer for a long time now, i've grown accustomed to it, and every other version of even the same song sounds strange to me. here's my question:

is it possible to make an mp3 file recorded through the winamp equalizer? in this way that i can burn mix cds with the equalizer already put into effect so as to be played through regular cd-players and etc.
 
You can get software that will edit the file to adjust each frequency (Nero Wave Editor will do this). Or, you can get wave recording software that will record a wave file from the wave output (ie the music file after its been processed by Winamp and the equaliser), all you have to do is learn how to use it, and get a encoding program to make mp3s out of the wave file.
