I've tried winrar and the performance gain on my Q6600 was nice. Are there any other applications that have updated versions with SMP support?

To clarify, you aren't really looking for SMP support so much, as that term generally refers to multiple processors (think sockets). You want things that are "multi-core aware", which should actually be a larger list than SMP ready applications.

I think what he's really looking for is multi-threaded applications... which should automagically be taken advantage of by the OS.
