Recommendations on PCI 802.11 Cards

My wife and I just put in an offer on a house. We love the house, but the weird architectural nuances of the house make running wired Ethernet a total non-starter unless we're willing to rip down most of the drywall to run it.

Thus, I think we're going to need good PCI 802.11 adapters to get network connectivity to all of the rooms in the house.

I need recommendations on the followin:

(1) high-gain antennas for PCI 802.11 adapters (this is pretty much a given that we'll need them)
(2) good quality PCI 802.11 adapters with chipsets that have good Linux and Windows support
(3) 802.11 routers with high gain antennas either optional or by default.

Upped my signal levels easily 10 fold. 802.11n can literally punch through brick walls...because thats actually what it does in my setup and I still get 270mbs connections.
