what i need:
- dvi is preferred, but vga is ok
- a native resolution of 800x600. i could live with 1024x768 if it didn't have a black bar around the screen when dropping down to 800x600.
- external power supply
- relatively quick response time, meaning <25ms; ghosting when watching a dvd would suck
- viewable from 4-8 feet away
- <$150

am i asking too much for too little? does anything even exist that matches my specs? i will be removing the lcd from its case, so case size is irrelevant. thanks in advance;)

$$150 Damn if you find one let me know maybe I will get one too. I just spent 500 on my 17in LCD 16ms

but i do see 14in 800x600 lcds for around $150

check pricewatch
i never said it had to be new;) i just need some model recommendations. if i could snag a samsung 151 or 152, i would, but i haven't found any that are that cheap yet.

i could also go for a 13" lcd, but the problem is that most are discontinued, and the few that were sold have incredibly shitty response times. i don't want to get a laptop lcd since i don't want to deal with a seperate display controller for this project.
