I just broke my Samsung 245b and while I am not pleased about having to buy a new monitor espicially while I am unemployed I am not unhappy about getting rid of it.
The viewing angles were simple terrible. Unless you are looking directly at it from the front its unwatchable.
What I am looking for is a good 24" monitor
1. For gaming (all games including FPS)
2. That has decent viewing angles for movies, I understand this is the problem of TN panels and while it doesn't have to be perfect I need better than I had.
3. Reasonable priced, i'd like a M-PVA screen but I am afraid 650 Euros is out of my budget for the time being. If this is not possible, then perhaps I should buy a POS 17" until I am working again. I need something as (my job searching is currently on hold). Seems like a waste of money though...
4. Adjustable base height stand, unfortunately I am tall, and I need something that I dont have to cringe in order to see the screen.
I am open to all, I was looking at the looking at the Samsung T240 (no adjustable base) does anyone have other suggestions. I really like the DELL 2408 (I had the 2001FP years ago) but pricey, unless someone can absolutely convince me its worth the extra $$$.
Also I am in Europe, WestingHouse, Planar, and other US only brands are not sold here.
