Recommendations for a 8 port PCI-E RAID 0 controller card?

looking for a recommendations on a 8 port controller card to be used for 8 SATA HDD RAID 0
needs to be PCI-E
top concern is reliability and no driver issues
would like to reach 800 MB/s read/write
OS is Windows 7 x64

If you are on a tight budget, the LSI SAS3081E-R may be sufficient for your use case and is only $170 (vs. $300 for the LSI 9240-8i referenced in the previous post).
In either case, you will need a set of breakout cables though: 2x Mini-SAS (SFF-8087) to 4xSATA fanout cable.

IBM M1015. Its essentially an LSI 9240-8i wearing an IBM badge. You can re-flash it to native 9240 software (many threads here on how).

Generally available on ebay between $65-90. Price/performance you won't find better.
