Recommendations for 19” LCD?

I'm looking for a good, all around, 19" LCD monitor in the $300 price range. I play a fair amount of games (so fast response times are a must) but I also spend a fair amount of time in standard 2D Windows apps too (so good contrast and color are also a must). Tom recommended the Viewsonic VX922 but I've read mixed reviews of that monitor from other sources. Any input you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Samsung 940bw. 1440x900, 4ms response, Got two for $199 each at Best Buy about 4 months ago. No ghosting while playing HL2, and with my 7950gx2 it gets ~225fps.
